Built for every kind of learner

An estimated one in five people learns differently — with dyslexia, ADHD, autism, or a processing difference. Most Bible study tools assume you read fluently and sit still. Our lessons are built so that isn't a barrier.

  • 🔊 Listen, don't just read Teaching content is voiced by a human and read along word-by-word — so the page can be heard, not only read.

What is the KJ3?

Every word of Scripture on this site uses the KJ3 Literal Translation — a strictly word-for-word English Bible that stays as close to the original Hebrew and Greek as English allows.

Jehovah — the divine name is restored where many Bibles print "the LORD."
Assembly — the Greek ekklesia is translated "assembly," its literal meaning.
Holy Spirit — used consistently in its clear, modern form.
Literal idiom — Hebrew forms are kept literal, e.g. "dying you shall die."

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Every page, lesson, and tool is free to use. There is no paywall and no subscription, and you do not need an account to read Scripture or take a lesson.

Can I learn Biblical Hebrew here for free?

Yes. The Hebrew Pronunciation lesson teaches every letter of the Aleph-Bet and the vowel points with recorded human-voice audio, word-by-word read-along, gentle no-pressure quizzes, a syllable-blending station, and a Genesis 1:1 reading capstone. Finish it and you can earn a printable certificate. A Greek alphabet lesson is also available.

Is this good for learners with dyslexia, ADHD, or autism?

Our flagship lessons are built to be. Teaching content is voiced by a human and read along word-by-word so a learner can listen rather than only read; the design is calm and low-clutter with no surprise motion; practice is chunked and pressure-free with no timers; and your progress is saved. The lessons are also keyboard- and screen-reader-accessible.

What is the KJ3 Literal Translation?

The KJ3 (King James 3) Literal Translation is a strictly word-for-word English Bible. It restores the divine name "Jehovah" where many translations print "the LORD," renders the Greek ekklesia as "assembly," uses "Holy Spirit," and preserves literal Hebrew idioms. It is the only translation used across BiblicalTools.org.

Do I need an account or an app?

No. Everything runs in a web browser with no account required. A free "Biblical Tools" app is also available, but the website is fully usable on its own.

Can I earn a certificate?

Yes. When you complete the Hebrew Pronunciation lesson you can put your name on a printable Certificate of Completion. Sharing your email is optional — the certificate prints whether or not you provide one.

Who runs BiblicalTools.org?

It is run by Bible Ministries International, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2002. Its teaching has always been offered free of charge.
