1 Peter 2:4-5God laid in Zion an elect, precious cornerstone; the one believing on Him will never be put to shame. But to the disobedient He is a stone of stumbling and rock of offense. Believers are an elect race, royal priesthood, holy nation, a people for God's own possession.
