1 Peter 5:1-4
Humble Yourselves Under God's Hand

Younger ones should be subject to elders. All should gird on humility, for God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Be humbled under God's mighty hand so He may exalt in due time, casting all anxiety on Him because He cares.

1 Peter 5:5-7
Resist the Devil

Be self-controlled and watchful because the adversary the devil walks about as a roaring lion seeking to devour. Resist him firmly in the faith, knowing the same sufferings are being completed in the brotherhood throughout the world.
