KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 30 of 31

1 And it happened when David and his men came to Ziklag on the third day, the Amalekites had raided to the Negeb, even to Ziklag, and had struck Ziklag and burned it with fire.

2 And they took captive the women who were in it, from the small even to the great; they did not cause anyone to die, but they led them away, and went on their way.

3 And David and his men came into the city. And, behold! It was burned with fire! And their wives and their sons and their daughters had been taken captive.
