1 Timothy 2

KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 2 of 6

1 First of all therefore, I exhort that petitions, prayers, supplications, and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men,

2 for kings and all the ones being in preeminence, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

3 For this is good and acceptable before God our Savior,

4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to a full knowledge of truth.
