KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 1 of 36

1 And Solomon the son of David made himself strong over his kingdom, and Jehovah his God was with him, and made him exceedingly great.

2 And Solomon spoke to all Israel, to the commanders of the thousands, and of the hundreds, and to judges, and to every leader of all Israel, heads of the fathers;

3 and they went, Solomon and all the congregation with him, to the high place that was in Gibeon, for there was God's tabernacle of the congregation that Moses, the servant of Jehovah, had made in the wilderness.
