2 Timothy 4:1-2A time will come when people will not endure sound doctrine but will heap up teachers who tickle their ears, turning away from truth to myths. Timothy must remain clear-minded and do the work of an evangelist.
2 Timothy 4:3-5Paul declares he is already being poured out and the time of his release is present. He has fought the good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith. The crown of righteousness awaits him and all who love Christ's appearing.
