1 And after these things, departing from Athens, Paul came to Corinth.

2 And finding a certain Jew, Aquila by name, of Pontus by race, having recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all the Jews to leave Rome, he came to them.

3 And because of his being of the same trade, he lived and worked with them; for they were tentmakers by trade.
