KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 32 of 50

¹ And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him.

² And when he saw them, Jacob said, This is the camp of God. And he called the name of that place, Two Camps.

³ And Jacob sent messengers before his face to his brother Esau, to the land of Seir, the field of Edom.

Genesis 32:1-2

Jacob sends messengers to Esau in Seir (Edom), informing him of his return and his acquired wealth, hoping to find favor. The messengers return with news that Esau is coming to meet him with 400 men.
