Timeline
The Law's repeated sacrifices could never perfect the worshipers. Christ said, 'I come to do Your will, O God,' taking away the first to establish the second. By one offering He perfected forever those being sanctified. Where sins are remitted, there is no longer offering for sin.
Hebrews 10:1-18Having confidence to enter the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus — a new and living way through the veil, His flesh — and having a Great Priest over God's house, believers should draw near with full assurance, hold fast the confession, and incite one another to love and good works.
Hebrews 10:19-25If believers willfully sin after receiving full knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins remains — only fearful expectation of judgment. How much worse punishment for trampling the Son of God, counting the covenant blood common, and insulting the Spirit of grace.
