Hebrews 12:1-2Do not despise the Lord's discipline nor faint under correction, for the Lord disciplines those He loves and scourges every son He receives. If you endure discipline, God deals with you as sons. Discipline yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness.
Hebrews 12:3-11Believers should strengthen weakened hands and knees, make straight paths, pursue peace and holiness without which no one will see the Lord, watch that no root of bitterness springs up, and avoid profanity like Esau who sold his birthright.
