Hosea 1

KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 1 of 14

1 The Word of Jehovah that was to Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam, the son of Joash, king of Israel.

2 The beginning of the speaking of Jehovah by Hosea. And Jehovah said to Hosea, Go, take to yourself a wife of adultery, and children of adultery. For fornicating the land goes fornicating away from Jehovah.

3 And he went and took Gomer, the daughter of Diblaim, who conceived and bore him a son.
