Isaiah 15

KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 15 of 66

1 The burden of Moab: Because in a night Ar of Moab is laid waste; it is cut off; because in a night Kir of Moab is laid waste; it is cut off.

2 One goes up to the house, even to Dibon, to the high places, to weep. Moab shall howl over Nebo and over Medeba; on all their heads shall be baldness, every beard cut off.

3 They shall put on sackcloth in the broad places; everyone shall howl on their housetops and in their open places, going down in weeping.
