1 Therefore when the Lord knew that the Pharisees heard that Jesus is making more disciples and baptizing more than John

2 (though truly Jesus Himself did not baptize, but His disciples),

3 He left Judea and went away into Galilee again.

4 And it was needful for Him to pass through Samaria.
