1 And it happened on one of those days, with Him teaching the people in the temple and proclaiming the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came up with the elders,

2 and spoke to Him, saying, Tell us by what authority you do these things, or who is the one giving you this authority?

3 And answering, He said to them, I will also ask you one thing, and you tell me:
