KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 24 of 24

1 And the first of the sabbaths, at early dawn, they came on the tomb, carrying spices which they prepared; and some were with them.

2 And they found the stone having been rolled away from the tomb.

3 And going in, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

4 And it happened, as they were perplexed about this, even behold, two men in shining clothing stood by them.

Chapter Summary

1 Christ’s resurrection is declared by two angels. 13 He himself appears to the two disciples that went to Emmaus: 36 he appears to the apostles, and reproves their unbelief: 49 promises the Holy Spirit: 51 and so ascends into heaven.
