Matthew 14

KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 14 of 28

1 At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the fame of Jesus.

2 And he said to his servants, This is John the Baptist. He has risen from the dead, and because of this, powerful works are at work in him.

3 For seizing John, Herod bound him and put him into prison, because of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip.
