KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 26 of 28

¹ And it happened, when Jesus finished all these sayings, He said to His disciples,

² You know that the Passover will be after two days, and the Son of Man is given over to be crucified.

³ Then the chief priests and the scribes and the elders of the people were assembled to the court of the high priest, the one named Caiaphas.

Chapter Summary

1 The rulers conspire against Christ. 14 Judas sells him. 47 Christ, being given over with a kiss, 57 is carried to Caiaphas, 69 and denied by Peter.

Jesus

A woman honors Jesus by pouring costly ointment on His head, and shortly after, Judas Iscariot agrees to betray Him for thirty silver pieces.
