Timeline
God established that fire offerings must be accompanied by food offerings of flour mixed with oil and drink offerings of wine 19 . This statute applied equally to native Israelites and aliens living among them 21 .
Numbers 15:1-21If the congregation sinned in error, they were required to offer a bull for a burnt offering and a kid goat for a sin offering . If an individual sinned unintentionally, they were to bring a female goat of the first year for a sin offering .
Numbers 15:22-29Anyone who sinned with a high hand, presumptuously despising the Word of Jehovah, was to be entirely cut off from the midst of his people . His iniquity would remain upon him .
