Timeline
The rulers of Israel offer six covered wagons and twelve oxen for the tabernacle service. Moses gives them to the Gershonites and Merarites according to their duties, but the Kohathites receive none because they bear holy items on their shoulders.
Numbers 7:1-11On the first day, Nahshon the son of Amminadab of the tribe of Judah brings his offering. He presents silver and gold vessels, grain, incense, and various animals for burnt, sin, and peace offerings.
Numbers 7:12-17On the second day, Nethaneel the son of Zuar, ruler of Issachar, presents his offering. It consists of the exact same silver and gold vessels, grain, incense, and animals as the first day.
