Proverbs 5

¹ My son, pay attention to my wisdom; stretch out your ear to my understanding;

² to keep discretion, and your lips may keep knowledge.

³ For the lips of a strange woman drip honey, and her palate is smoother than oil,

⁴ but afterwards she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a sword of mouths;
