1 Why do You stand far away, O Jehovah? Will You hide in times of distress?

2 The wicked one in his pride will pursue the afflicted one; they will be caught in the schemes which they have devised.

3 For the wicked one boasts of his soul's desire, and he has blessed the covetous; scorning Jehovah.
