¹ Give thanks to Jehovah, for He is good; for His mercy endures forever.

² Let the redeemed of Jehovah say so, whom He redeemed from the hand of the adversary;

³ and gathered them from the lands; from east and from west; from north and from south.

⁴ They wandered in the wilderness, in a deserted way; they found no city of dwelling;

Freed from Iron and Darkness

Prisoners bound in iron and darkness for rebelling against God cry out, and God breaks their bronze gates and iron bars.
