KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 48 of 150

¹ A Song, A Psalm for the Sons of Korah. Great is Jehovah, and exceedingly to be praised in the city of our God, His holy mountain.

² Beautiful on high, the joy of all the earth, is Mount Zion, in the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

³ God is known in her strongholds for a refuge.

⁴ For, behold, the kings met together; they passed by together;

Kings Flee in Panic

Kings assemble and marvel at Zion, but are seized with trembling and flee as an east wind breaks the ships of Tarshish.
