¹ To the Chief Musician on Neginoth. A Contemplation. A Psalm of David. Give ear to my prayer, O God; and do not hide Yourself from my supplication.

² Pay attention to me, and answer me; I wander and I moan in my complaint,

³ from the voice of the enemy, from the oppression of the wicked one; for they shake iniquity over me, and in anger they hate me.
