KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 16 of 22

1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels: Go and pour out the bowls of the anger of God onto the earth.

2 And the first went away and poured out his bowl onto the earth. And it came to be a bad and evil sore on the men, the ones having the mark of the beast, and the ones worshiping its image.

3 And the second angel poured out his bowl onto the seas; and it became blood, as of a dead one, and every soul of life died in the sea.

Timeline

First Five Bowls of Wrath

The bowls are poured: foul sores on those with the mark, the sea becomes blood, rivers become blood, the sun scorches with fierce heat, and darkness covers the beast's throne. Yet mankind blasphemes God and does not repent.

Sixth Bowl: Euphrates Dried and Armageddon Gathering

The Euphrates dries to prepare the way for eastern kings. Three unclean spirits like frogs from the dragon, beast, and false prophet gather the kings of the earth to Armageddon for the battle of the great day of God Almighty.

Seventh Bowl: It Is Done

The seventh bowl is poured into the air and a voice from the throne declares 'It is done!' The greatest earthquake ever splits the great city into three parts, islands flee, mountains vanish, and talent-weight hailstones fall. Babylon is remembered before God.
