KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 7 of 22

1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on every tree.

2 And I saw another angel coming up from the rising of the sun, having a seal of the living God. And he cried with a great voice to the four angels to whom it was given to them to harm the earth and the sea,

3 saying, Do not harm the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we seal the slaves of our God on their foreheads.

Timeline

Sealing of the 144,000 and the Great Multitude

Before the winds of destruction are released, 144,000 from the twelve tribes of Israel are sealed. Then a numberless multitude from every nation appears in white robes, having come through the great tribulation and washed their robes in the Lamb's blood.
