Timeline
When Abram is 99 years old, God Almighty appears to him, reaffirms His covenant, and promises to multiply him greatly. Abram falls on his face. God changes Abram's name to Abraham, meaning 'father of many nations.'
Genesis 17:1-5God promises Abraham he will be exceedingly fruitful, nations will come from him, and kings will come out of him.
Genesis 17:6God establishes an everlasting covenant with Abraham and his seed through generations, to be their God. He promises all the land of Canaan as an everlasting possession.
