Isaiah 31

KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 31 of 66

1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and lean on horses, and trust on chariotry, because it is great; and in horsemen because they are very strong! But they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, and do not seek Jehovah.

2 And He also is wise, and brings evil, and will not turn aside His words, but will rise against the house of ones doing evil, and against the help of workers of iniquity.

3 And Egypt is a man, and not God. And their horses are flesh, and not spirit. And Jehovah stretches out His hand, and both he who helps shall stumble, and he who is helped shall fall; and together they all shall be finished.
