Jeremiah 40

KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 40 of 52

1 The Word which was to Jeremiah from Jehovah, after Nebuzaradan, the chief of the executioners, had sent him from Ramah, when he had taken him and he was bound in chains among all the captives of Jerusalem and Judah being exiled to Babylon.

2 And the chief of the executioners took Jeremiah and said to him, Jehovah your God has spoken this evil thing against this place.

3 And Jehovah has brought it and has done according as He has spoken, because you have sinned and have not obeyed His voice, and this thing has come upon you.
