Jeremiah 42

KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 42 of 52

1 And all the army heads, and Johanan, the son of Kareah, and Jezaniah, the son of Hoshaiah, and all the people, from the least and to the greatest, came near.

2 And they said to Jeremiah the prophet, Please let our plea fall before you; and pray for us to Jehovah your God, for all this remnant, (for we are left over, but a few of many, as your eyes see us),

3 and Jehovah your God may make known to us the way in which we may walk, and the thing that we may do.
