Timeline
Ammon is condemned for inheriting Gad's territory. God prophesies that Rabbah will become a ruin and their king and priests will be exiled, but promises a future restoration for Ammon.
Jeremiah 49:1-6God declares that Edom (Teman, Dedan, Bozrah) will be laid bare and stripped of its hiding places. It will be overthrown and become a perpetual desolation like Sodom and Gomorrah.
Jeremiah 49:7-22Damascus, Hamath, and Arpad are seized by panic and anguish. The city of praise is forsaken, its young men fall, and a fire is kindled in the fortresses of Ben-hadad.
