Timeline
Pharisees test Jesus about divorce. He explains that Moses allowed it due to hardheartedness, but God's original creation makes a husband and wife one flesh, which man should not put apart.
Mark 10:1-12Jesus is highly indignant when His disciples rebuke those bringing children to Him. He welcomes the children and blesses them, declaring that the kingdom of God belongs to those who receive it like a child.
Mark 10:13-16A rich man kneels before Jesus, asking how to inherit eternal life. Jesus tells him to sell all he has, give to the poor, and follow Him. The man goes away grieving because of his many possessions.
