1 The proverbs of Solomon: A wise son makes a father rejoice, but a son who is a fool is a mother's sorrow.

2 Treasures of wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death.

3 Jehovah will not allow the soul of the righteous one to hunger, but He pushes away the desire of the wicked one.
