Proverbs 22

KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 22 of 31

1 A name is to be chosen rather than great riches; favor is better than silver or gold.

2 The rich one and the one being poor meet together, Jehovah is the One making all of them.

3 A prudent one sees the evil way and hides himself, but the ones of simplicity pass on and are punished.

4 The reward of humility is the fear of Jehovah, riches, and honor, and life.
