KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 29 of 31

¹ A man of chastisements who hardens his neck shall be broken with suddenness, and there will be no healing.

² When the righteous ones increase, the people rejoice; when a wicked one rules, the people groan.

³ A man who loves wisdom gladdens his father, but one feeding ones doing adultery wastes wealth.

⁴ A king establishes a land by judgment, but a man taking bribes tears it down.
