Proverbs 29
Where there is no vision, the people are let loose.
1A man of chastisements who hardens his neck shall be broken with suddenness, and there will be no healing.
2When the righteous ones increase, the people rejoice; when a wicked one rules, the people groan.
3A man who loves wisdom gladdens his father, but one feeding ones doing adultery wastes wealth.
4A king establishes a land by judgment, but a man taking bribes tears it down.
5A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his steps.
6An evil man is a snare by transgression, but the righteous ones sing and rejoice.
7The righteous one knows the cause of the poor ones; the wicked one does not discern knowledge.
8Men of scorning blast a city, but the wise ones turn away anger.
9If a wise man judges with a foolish man, even he shakes, or laughs, and there is no rest.
10Men of blood hate the perfected ones, but the upright ones seek his soul.
11A fool brings out all of his spirit, but holding back, the wise ones quiet it.
12To a ruler who listens to a word of falsehood, all his ministers are wicked ones.
13One being poor and the man of oppressions meet together. Jehovah enlightens the eyes of both.
14A king that judges the poor ones with truth shall have his throne established forever.
15The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a boy sent off causes shame to his mother.
16When wicked ones are multiplied, transgression increases; but the righteous ones shall see their fall.
17Discipline your son, and you will get rest, and it will give delight to your soul.
18Where there is no vision, the people are let loose, but blessed is he keeping the law.
19A servant is not corrected by words; though he understands, there is no answer.
20Do you see a man hastening in his words? There is more hope for a fool than of him.
21He treating his servant delicately from youth, even afterwards in his days he shall be his heir.
22A man of anger stirs up contention, and a master of fury abounds in transgression.
23The pride of man brings him low, but the humble of spirit takes hold of honor.
24He who shares with a thief hates his soul; he hears a curse, but does not tell it.
25The fear of man brings a snare, but he trusting Jehovah is set on high.
26Many are seeking the face of the ruler, but the judgment of each man is from Jehovah.
27A man of injustice is a disgusting thing to the righteous one, and the upright of way is a disgusting thing to the wicked one.
