Proverbs 11

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life.

1False balances are a disgusting thing to Jehovah, but a perfect stone His delight.
2Pride comes, then shame comes, but with those being humble is wisdom.
3The integrity of the upright ones guides them, but the perverting of those betraying will devastate them.
4Wealth does not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.
5The righteousness of the sound one shall make his way right, but the wicked one shall fall by his own wickedness.
6The righteousness of the upright one shall deliver them, but those betraying shall be taken in their lust.
7In the death of a wicked man his expectation shall perish, and the hope of doers of iniquity shall be lost.
8The righteous one is delivered from distress, and the wicked one goes in instead of him.
9The godless one is corrupting his friend with his mouth, but the righteous ones are delivered by knowledge.
10When the righteous ones receive good things, the city rejoices; and at perishing of the wicked ones is singing.
11A city is lifted up by the blessing of the upright one, but by the mouth of the wicked ones it is overthrown.
12One despising his friend lacks heart, but an understanding man remains silent.
13One going with slander is a revealer of secrets, but the faithful of spirit keeps a matter hidden.
14In the absence of wise counsels the people fall, but safety is in a great counselor.
15The evil one suffers when he is surety for a stranger, but one hating strikers of hands is trusted.
16A gracious woman holds to honor, but terrifying men hold to riches.
17A merciful man does good to his own soul, but the cruel one troubles his own flesh.
18The wicked one makes a wage of falsehood, but one sowing righteousness has a reward of truth.
19As righteousness is to life, even the evil one is pursuing to his death.
20The perverse of heart is a disgusting thing to Jehovah, but His delight is the blameless one of his way.
21Though hand join to hand, the evil one shall not be free from guilt, but the seed of the righteous ones escapes.
22As a ring of gold in a swine's snout, so is a woman who is beautiful, yet turning aside discretion.
23The desire of the righteous ones is only good, the hope of the wicked ones is wrath.
24There is one who scatters yet increases more, but a withholder of uprightness comes only to poverty.
25The soul of blessing will be made fat; he drinking to his fill will also be taught.
26One holding back grain, the people curse him; but a blessing is to the head of one selling grain.
27One seeking good early seeks favor; but one pursuing an evil thing, it shall come to him.
28One trusting in his riches, he shall fall; but like a green leaf the righteous ones shall flourish.
29One troubling his house inherits the wind; and the foolish one is servant to the wise of heart.
30The fruit of the righteous one is a tree of life, and one taking souls is wise.
31Behold, the righteous ones shall be rewarded in the earth; also indeed the wicked one and the sinner.
