¹ Give thanks to Jehovah, for He is good; because His mercy endures forever.

² Let Israel say now that His mercy endures forever.

³ Let the house of Aaron say now that His mercy endures forever.

⁴ Let those fearing Jehovah say now that His mercy endures forever.

Israel

The covenant nation, called to confess that Jehovah's mercy endures forever (v. 2).

The high-priestly line; the house of Aaron is summoned to declare Jehovah's enduring mercy (v. 3).

Surrounded Like Bees

All nations encompass the psalmist like bees, but they are quenched like a fire of thorns and cut off in Jehovah's name.
