Psalms 124

¹ A Song of Ascents, of David. Except that it was Jehovah who was for us, O may Israel say;

² except that it was Jehovah who was for us in the rising of men against us,

³ then they would have swallowed us alive, their anger was hot against us.

⁴ the waters would have flowed over us; the torrent would have covered our soul;
