KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 132 of 150

¹ A Song of Ascents. O Jehovah, remember David with all his afflictions,

² who swore to Jehovah; he vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob,

³ If I will go into the tent of my house, if I go up on the couch of my bed,

⁴ if I give sleep to my eyes, slumber to my eyelids,

David's Oath for God's Dwelling

David swears to Jehovah that he will not sleep or slumber until he finds a dwelling-place for the Mighty One of Jacob.
