Timeline
John sees a new heaven and new earth, for the first passed away and the sea is no more. The New Jerusalem descends from heaven as a bride. God tabernacles with humanity, wiping every tear — death, mourning, and pain are gone. He declares: 'Behold, I make all things new.'
Revelation 21:1-8The holy city has God's glory shining like crystal-clear jasper, with twelve gates bearing tribal names, twelve foundations with apostolic names, streets of transparent gold, and walls of precious stones. Its measurements are perfect: 12,000 stadia in each dimension.
