KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 19 of 21

1 Therefore, then, Pilate took Jesus and scourged Him.

2 And having plaited a wreath out of thorns, the soldiers put it on His head. And they threw a purple garment around Him,

3 and said, Hail, King of the Jews! And they were giving Him slaps.
