Isaiah 35

KJ3 Literal Translation — Chapter 35 of 66

1 The wilderness and dry land shall rejoice for them; and the desert shall exult and bloom like the crocus.

2 Blooming, it shall bloom and exult; yea, with joy and singing. Lebanon's glory shall be given to it, the honor of Carmel and Sharon; they shall see the glory of Jehovah, the honor of our God.

3 Strengthen then the slack of hands and firm up the staggering knees.

The desert rejoices and blooms. The weak are encouraged not to fear because God comes with vengeance, opening blind eyes, unstopping deaf ears, and causing the lame to leap.
