KJ3 Literal Translation
Leviticus 20
1 Of him that gives of his seed to Molech. 6 Of going to mediums. 7 Of sanctification. 9 Of he that curses his parents. 10 Of adultery. 11, 14, 17, 19 Of incest. 13 Of sodomy. 15 Of bestiality. 18 Of uncleanness.
1And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
2Also, you shall say to the sons of Israel, Whoever he may be of the sons of Israel, or of the aliens who stay in Israel, who gives any of his seed to Molech, he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones.
3And I, I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from the midst of his people, because he has given some of his seed to Molech, so as to defile My sanctuary and to profane My holy name.
4And if the people of the land should at all hide their eyes from the man when he gives some of his seed to Molech, and they do not kill him,
5then I will set My face against that man and against his family, and will cut him off, and all who go whoring after him, even go whoring after Molech from the midst of their people.
6And the person who turns to mediums, and to spirit-knowers, to go whoring after them, I will even set My face against that person, and will cut him off from the midst of his people.
7Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am Jehovah your God.
8And you shall keep My statutes, and do them. I am Jehovah who sanctifies you.
9For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be on him.
10And the man who commits adultery with another man's wife, even he who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
11And the man who lies with his father's wife has uncovered his father's nakedness. Both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be on them.
12And if a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death. They have committed a perversion; their blood shall be on them.
13If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be on them.
14And if a man takes a wife and her mother, it is wickedness. They shall be burned with fire, both he and they, that there may be no wickedness among you.
15And if a man lies with an animal, he shall surely be put to death; and you shall kill the animal.
16And if a woman approaches any animal and lies with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal. They shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be on them.
17And if a man takes his sister, his father's daughter or his mother's daughter, and sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness, it is a wicked thing. And they shall be cut off in the sight of their people. He has uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
18And if a man lies with a menstruous woman, and uncovers her nakedness, he has made naked her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood. And both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
19And you shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister, nor of your father's sister, for that is making naked his near kin. They shall bear their iniquity.
20And if a man lies with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness. They shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
21And if a man takes his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing. He has uncovered his brother's nakedness. They shall be childless.
22You shall therefore keep all My statutes and all My judgments, and do them, that the land where I am bringing you to live may not vomit you out.
23And you shall not walk in the statutes of the nation which I am casting out before you; for they commit all these things, and therefore I loathe them.
24But I have said to you, You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey. I am Jehovah your God, who has separated you from the peoples.
25You shall therefore make a difference between clean animals and unclean, and between unclean birds and clean. And you shall not make your souls abominable by animal or by bird, or by any creeping thing which creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
26And you shall be holy to Me, for I Jehovah am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.
27A man also or woman who is a medium, or is a spirit-knower, shall surely be put to death. They shall stone them with stones; their blood shall be on them.
