Psalms 112
Jehovah's blessings on the godly.
1Praise Jah! Blessed is the man who fears Jehovah, delighting greatly in His commands.
2His seed will be mighty on the earth; the generation of the upright ones will be blessed;
3wealth and riches in his house; and his righteousness is standing forever.
4Light rises in the darkness to the upright ones; he is gracious and full of pity, and of righteousness.
5Good is a man showing favor and lending; he will measure his matters with justice.
6For he shall not be shaken forever; the righteous one shall be for a remembrance forever.
7He shall not be afraid of evil news; his heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah.
8His heart is upheld; he shall not be afraid until he looks on his oppressors.
9He has scattered; he has given to the needy ones; his righteousness is standing forever; his horn shall be lifted up with honor.
10The wicked one shall see and be indignant; he shall gnash his teeth and melt; the desire of the wicked ones shall perish.
