KJ3 Literal Translation
Psalms 13
David complains of delay in help. He prays for preventing grace. To the chief musician. A Psalm of David.
1To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. Until when will You forget me, O Jehovah? Forever? Until when will You hide Your face from me?
2Until when shall I set counsels in my soul, having sorrow in my heart day by day? Until when shall my enemy be lifted up over me?
3Look! Answer me, O Jehovah, my God! Make my eyes be bright, lest I sleep the death;
4lest my enemy say, I have overcome him; and my foes rejoice when I am shaken.
5But I have trusted in Your mercy. My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
6I will sing to Jehovah, because He has rewarded me.
