KJ3 Literal Translation
Psalms 58
David reproves wicked judges. He describes the nature of the wicked. To the chief musician. Do not destroy. A secret treasure of David.
1To the chief musician. Do not destroy. A secret treasure of David. Will you indeed speak righteousness in silence? Do you judge rightly, O sons of men?
2Yes, in heart you work injustices you weigh the violence of your hands in the land.
3The wicked ones are estranged from the womb; they go astray from the belly, speaking lies.
4Their poison is like the poison of a serpent; like the deaf adder he stops his ear,
5which will not hear the charmer's voice, skillful charmer of charms.
6O God, break their teeth in their mouth; break out the big teeth of the young lions, O Jehovah.
7They flow away like waters going away for themselves; he treads his arrows, as though they were cut off;
8As a snail goes into melting, a miscarriage of a woman, they do not see the sun.
9Before your pots can discern the thorns, whether green or glowing, He shall storm it away.
10The righteous one shall rejoice when he sees vengeance; he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked ones.
11And man will say, Truly, a fruit is to the righteous one; there is a God judging in the earth.
