Psalms 113
An exhortation to praise Jehovah for His excellency and mercy.
1Praise Jah! Praise, O servants of Jehovah; praise the name of Jehovah.
2Being blessed is the name of Jehovah from now on and forever.
3From the rising of the sun to its going down, the name of Jehovah is to be praised.
4Jehovah is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens.
5Who is like Jehovah our God, who exalts Himself to dwell;
6who humbles Himself to consider all in the earth and the heavens?
7He raises up the poor one from the dust; He lifts the needy one out of the dunghill,
8to make him sit with nobles, with the nobles of his people,
9causing the barren one to dwell in the house, the joyful mother of sons. Praise Jah!
