Psalms 127
The good blessing of Jehovah is to be looked for in all our efforts. Good children are His gift.
1A Song of Ascents, for Solomon. If Jehovah does not build the house, they labor in vain that build it; if Jehovah does not keep the city, the one keeping it stays awake in vain.
2Being early to rise is in vain for you, being late to sit up to eat the bread of toils is vain; for so He gives His beloved sleep.
3Behold! Sons are an inheritance of Jehovah; the fruit of the womb is its reward.
4As arrows in the hand of a mighty one, so are the sons of the young.
5Blessed is the man who has filled his quiver with them; they shall not be ashamed, for they shall speak with their enemies in the gate.
